Ideal for HAM’s, Hobbyists, and experimenters. Used for building QRP gear, receivers, transmitters, test equipment, or small QRP tuners. Single hole panel mounting. Quality L4. grade ceramic. End shaft is insulated. Shaft is 1/4” Dia. X 1/2” Long. Air gap on plates is .016” and plates are rated 640V. Wide capacitance range available. Small size. This capacitor is useful for receiver and antenna tuning in the longwave, AM, and shortwave bands from 50 KHz to 5 MHz. Most capacitors of this type go from 20 pF to 365 pF. Our unit will go up to 384 pF. This gives you a little extra room to center the band or tune just slightly lower. Use this capacitor to tune your ferrite rod antenna. AVC50VD. Ideal for QRP rigs. Many QRP circuits call for a small 50pf or 100pf air variable. These are ideal. Mounting is through tapped holes in the bottom, front, or rear of the frame or through the use of mounting studs. Vernier provides precision and smooth fine tuning. The vernier drive provides a rotation of about 8:1. That is a 360 degree rotation of the shaft, results in only a 45 degree movement of the rotor. Using a system of rolling balls rather then gears the vernier creates little friction. Shaft is 1/4" Diameter X 3/4" long. A very high quality capacitor. Air gap is .010" and rated for 350V.
