The SWARTZ Type 32 Reverse Current Relay from SMC is designed for the protection of rectifiers in transit or industrial applications. The relay protects the rectifier from back-feeds in the power system, should there be an internal fault. The solid state design and rugged construction ensure dependable, low maintenance operation under adverse conditions.It is a single pole double throw relay with Heavy-Duty, 40 Amp contacts. This relay was designed to reliably operate high surge strike bars and electric locks. It’s heavy duty contacts also find uses to control up to 75 VDC with high current in automovtive, residential, and comercial applications. The RT-1HD coil can be controlled with 12 VDC or 24 VDC.

MINIMUM CURRENT RELAY to trip a motor when loading is below the preset value, to be used in conjunction with the existing DOL or star delta starter. Supplied with one ring type current transformer(C.T.) of appropriate capacity, electronic relay to disconnect supply to the contactor coil of the starter when the current drawn by the motor falls below the value set. The C.T. is built in for low currents and for higher currents it is supplied separately and should be inserted in one of the lines at the cable entry point to the starter or at any other convenient location to sense the line current. The relay is to be mounted next to the starter.Overload protection can also be provided as optional facility.
